Moorseats Hall, North Derbyshire

An extension to an historic house designed to complement the character of the existing building whilst providing a large, light and airy family room with excellent views and access to the terrace. A piled retaining wall was constructed to support an existing building at a higher level to the rear before excavation of the site could commence. Much of the stone used was reclaimed.
