Tomlinson House, 100 Alfreton Road, Derby

This distinctive 4-storey headquarters building was designed for G F Tomlinson Group. The robust detailing reflects the industrial heritage of the area and features such as the large cast stone openings with balconies and the specially designed curved corner bricks combine with the modulated roof line and segmented crescent shaped plan to give the building character. The building received the George Larkin Design Award in 2008.
