Practice merger
We are delighted to announce our merger with AFS Architects from 1st January 2010. The practice is joined by Tony Simms as senior consultant architect and Gemma Atkinson as architect, all working under the Matthew Montague Architects banner, and bringing a wealth of experience, particularly in schools and conservation to our portfolio.Brian Clough/Peter Taylor Memorial
We are proud to be the architects for the planning and detailed design accompanying the erection of the above. Planning is now under way with a view to completion mid 2010, renowned sculptor Andy Edwards portrays Clough and Taylor embracing the Championship trophy in 1972, during the Glory years at Derby County. The figures will stand upon a bespoke circular podium, reaching to 6m in height, encircled with contemplative planting and seating. A fitting tribute to the duo.The Dial restaurant and Bar, Burton On Trent.
The practice has recently been involved in the refurbishment of the Grade 2 listed Dial Bar and Restaurant in Burton-on-Trent. The proposals have involved both internal and external alterations refreshing the brand of the business in order for it to remain a highly acclaimed and popular destination.
