PROJECT OVERVIEW

A new build dwelling set within settlement boundaries in the Derbyshire countryside. The clients brief was for the dwelling to have a modern design with a high number of eco-credentials which we delivered by incorporating ground source heat pumps, a mechanical ventilation heat & recovery system, ICF (insulated concrete) & SIPS (structurally insulated panels) construction methods and highly insulated glazing. The roadside approach gives privacy and little clues to the open faced, fully glazed south-facing elevation which enjoys the aspect of the large garden and views over the Derbyshire countryside.
