PARK BIKE WORKS
DERBY CITY CENTRE
DERBY CITY COUNCIL
Working alongside Derby City Council, the Park Bikeworks project is aimed at getting more people to cycle to and from work and encourage more environmentally-friendly transport.
The building is set within Derby’s Cathedral Quarter Conservation Area and has secure bike parking spaces on the lower ground floor, changing rooms, showers, an accessories shop and cycle repairs services. There is also a café, physiotherapy facilities along with bike fitting.
The successful project won the George Larkin Brighter City Award 2014 along with the George Rennie Award 2014.
