PROJECT OVERVIEW
Two new modern, contemporary dwellings designed and submitted for planning permission to replace two agricultural Dutch barns in the village of Breedon on the Hill in North West Leicestershire.
The proposal is for the repurposing of an existing brownfield site and the houses have been designed in a contemporary yet contextually appropriate style influenced by the historical barns.
High quality materials have been selected throughout the scheme to provide a superior finish, reduce maintenance and increase the overall longevity of the buildings.
Local materials will be used as far as possible in construction, with natural stone being a dominant material, with stone coloured render and large expanses of glazing to make the most of the amazing views. Internal and external timber rafters will reinforce the rural barn architype.
Plot 1 is a 925m2 four bedroomed property, Plot 2 is also 4 bedroomed with a plot area of 760m2.
