Proposed housing scheme for Canal Lane, Hose, Melton Mowbray. The developers brief was for a unique and creative approach to design a new, eco-friendly, impressive housing development.

The site comprises 34 dwellings, mainly 4 and 5 bedroomed homes, coupled with an element of semi-detached and retirement properties.

The development is approached by a long driveway which adds an air of exclusivity and privacy. The Crescent is retirement accommodation that has been designed around the public open space to give a sense of community.

There is a central park area and two water features of note. One is a shallow feature around which the Crescent is designed the second is a balancing pond and some of the properties have a stunning water's edge to the garden.
