Proposed design for a new neighbourhood centre comprising 700 new homes, a primary school, medical centre, community centre, retail units, green areas and parks.

The brief was to create an attractive, sustainable, future proofed environment coupled with high-quality design. The vision a 'living hub' for the local community, to deliver a strong concept, a sense of place and a vibrant central courtyard area. 

Green infrastructure is at the heart of the development, creating a sustainably built environment with strong ties to the natural landscape, encouraging walking, outdoor activity and the use of public transport. The sense of community will be enhanced by the central courtyard, prioritising pedestrian flow creating an environment in which retail can thrive.
