The building prior to conversion.
The renovated space now features a host of amenities designed to meet the diverse needs of the Trust's operations. A new staircase and lift provide access to the first floor, which now houses a range of offices, a reception area, toilet facilities, a kitchen, and a dedicated meeting room. On the ground floor, the workshop area caters to the needs of the joinery and estate maintenance teams, complete with essential facilities for staff.
As far as possible the buildings original features have been retained; the internal queen post roof trusses have been restored, Crittall style steel windows and doors have been installed in an effort to preserve the building's heritage whilst ensuring compliance with modern building standards.
The installation of Solar Photovoltaic (PV) panels further underscores the Trust's commitment to sustainability by reducing reliance on mains electricity.
Beyond enhancing operational efficiency, the new space will allow better collaboration and synergy among the Trust's administration, management staff, and workshop teams.
Working with contractors Nottingham Developments Ltd. and Quantity Surveyors Addison Hunt the Liversage Trust's New Headquarters in Derby were delivered on time and budget.
