For any importer or packer of pre-packaged goods, LMPC Registration is mandatory—it's the legal shield that proves you comply with weight, measure, and labeling laws. Ignoring it risks heavy fines and customs holds, which can destroy margins. Ensuring your labeling is 100% compliant before application is the key to a smooth process.

This post is a great starting point, thank you! I'm planning to set up a small textiles unit in one of the DSIIDC industrial areas. I'm a little confused about the MCD Factory License versus the License under the Factories Act, 1948 (issued by the Directorate of Industrial Safety & Health).
