Planning Permission Approved for Class Q Barn Conversions.
Matthew Montague Architects have received planning permission for an exclusive housing scheme for the redevelopment of a Class Q site in Newton Harcourt, Leicestershire.
The development of the 0.4 hectare site will see the demolition and replacement of the agricultural barns with 4 new dwellings in a courtyard format.
The overall scheme is designed as a contemporary interpretation of a simple farmyard courtyard. The development will comprise two 3-bedroom dwellings and two 4-bedroom dwellings.
The roof and walls are clad in standing seam sheet material, interspersed with stained vertical boarding, privacy is retained on the larger gable windows with fixed external slatted louvres.
